Just an update on what's been going on in my camp lately. I'm back in school working on obtaining my massage therapy license. It feels very good to know that I am able to assist people in achieving better health. I have experienced a tremendous improvement in my own health as a result of receiving regular massages at school. It's amazing what it can do for the body's systems. The classes are not easy but are very interesting...so I've been able to pull straight A's so far. But I've got a long way to go(a full year!!!) before I graduate. You would think we're going to be neuro-surgeons when we come out judging by the material we're covering!
Chase has decided to build a pond in our front yard so we've been busy digging! He's very enthused about making it just right with plants, rocks, fish, and turtles.

Wow! I'm back! Lots of stuff to catch up on. We've had some changes with the Bait & Switch band, not the least of which is the fact that Scottie J has returned to the music scene as Bait & Switch's star guitar player and is pairing up with me on the acoustic shows as well. Many of you may have heard that Scottie has had to weather a few extremely challenging life experiences since we last saw him play with the band and we are glad to have him back where he belongs. Having Scottie back with me has sparked my enthusiasm to collaborate on some new material. Of course, Scottie's heart has always been in the originals scene. You can expect to hear some originals come out of the reunited Bait & Switch gang very soon.
The past half year has had me busy breaking into the exhilarating world of real estate. Those of you who know me well understand that once I commit to something I will accomplish my goal. So that's what I have done. And am continuing to do as of late. I've taken and passed all required classes and state exams and am now a licensed NC Real Estate Broker. I am proud to announce my affiliation with Keller Williams Realty as their beliefs and value system are the same as mine: God first, Family, and then Work. Don't worry! I'm not leaving the music world!! My new venture will allow me the opportunity to continue with my music career. And it will help me to fund it as well! I want to thank all of you who have encouraged and supported me in this new talent I've discovered within me. If you find out about anyone wanting to purchase or sell their home, please let me know. Support your local starving musician!!

Well, it was scheduled as one of mine & Gary's acoustic shows but blossomed into a showcase of some of the finest talent in the area with representation from 5 different Charlotte area bands. Tony Berkstar(who will be sitting in with the Bait & Switch band in the near future) joined us on lead guitar and vocals, Johnny Whittington from the former "Grey Eagle" band played keys and sang, his son, Aaron Whittington of the all original band "Heredity" added percussion and vocals, joined later by his guitar player Toby, and Robin and Amy of the MiddleMan Band jammed out some tunes which included an awesome original they've just completed. Wow! Magic like this doesn't happen very often. Below are some of the moments caught on camera......
