Hire us for your backyard pool party and there we are in our Hawaiian shirts and shorts ready to help set the mood! We offer two basic types of shows.... either a pure DJ show or a combination of Karaoke and DJ.

C.K. DJ & Karaoke has been in action since 1997(previously Frog DJ & Karaoke) in the Charlotte area, operated by Cindy Kay.

Cindy has been DJ'ing and hosting karaoke shows since 1991. When the karaoke explosion took place in the U.S. some 20 years ago, Pioneer, who was the leading manufacturer of karaoke equipment at the time, recognized her as one of the industry's top hosts and sent her traveling to industry shows to showcase their products.

She has since DJ'd in Detroit,MI-Atlanta,GA-Nashville,TN and for the past 15 years has operated the C.K. DJ & Karaoke Show out of Charlotte, NC. She is a true professional and has an impeccable reputation as being such.

The success of her shows is in part due to her innate ability to know how to please any crowd. From formal affairs such as weddings and corporate parties to casual down home pig pickin's she pulls the crowd to their feet and to the dance floor and puts people at ease in the karaoke arena with her encouraging manner.

Another reason her shows are the big hit.....the incredible sound system she's created. And it does make a difference. If the extent of your audio expertise goes as far as knowing how to turn the volume up on your stereo.....let me assure you that a pro audio system does make a difference in regards to the mood of the event. Think of it this way.....a poor sound system is like trying to turn the volume up on one of those old transistor radios that your grandma might have in her kitchen. It's only going to allow SOME of the original sound/tones to filter through it's limited components. After 30 minutes of listening to a poor system trying to out-scream the volume of your guests.....everyone's ears will be tired and your guests won't even realize why they're annoyed! A good sound system creates a soothing atmosphere....even at high party volume.
